ChineseWarps: 2 Z spun S plied undyed ivory wool; alternate warps on distinct levels. Weft: 1 ply Z spun buff and undyed brown and dark brown wool; almost all two yarns per shoot. Pile: 2 Z spun S plied wool. Pile colors: dark red, light red, orange, salmon pink, heavily abrashed green/blue-green, green, dark blue, light blue, purple, undyed ivory, and corrosive brown-black. Knots: symmetrical Knots per vertical decimter: 44/43. Knots per horizontal decimeter: 31. Both selvedges replaced: 2 bundles of 2 or 3 warps wrapped in buff weft. Both ends: restored. Woven upside down.
