Description
The painting in Jaipur Style depicts Maharaja Sawai Ram Singh (1834-80) of Jaipur, mounted on a brown, caparisoned horse. He wears a white robe (jama), a turban, and jewelry, with a sword hanging from his waist. He also carries a rifle over his right shoulder.
