Spring, Ancient Coin Auction Catalogues (2009), p. 62, no. 161, both Paul Mathey (1844-1929) and Frédéric-Robert Jameson (1861-1942) are listed as the consignors for this sale. As the coin is not listed in the Collection R. Jameson catalogs (1913-1932), it probably came from the collection of Paul Mathey. [2] Arthur Stone Dewing (1880-1971). An inventory card by A.S. Dewing reads “Grunthal-Gans auction June 5, 1950 #103.”
