Provenance

Patricia Sekler, Cambridge, Massachusetts, purchased at a "junk shop" or "yard sale", 1970, gift to the Harvard University Art Museums, 2000. When the image was removed from its frame, Patricia Sekler found a small sheet of paper with the image's identifying information (see the artist's file).
