Sketchbook with black-paper-covered cardboard covers, embossed with a pattern of leaves. Black-leather-covered spine with vertical gold stripe. Paper covering is torn away at l.r. of front cover, l.l. of back cover. Pages of off-white, buff, brown, and cream wove paper, each 8.8 x 14.8 cm. Sixty pages altogether; blank pages were not given database records. On the rear pastedown are sketches of a horse's head, a cow, and figure sketches.
