Description

Obv.: Three figures standign on separate cushions. In center, Michael VII, large, wearing modified loros with loros-waist and crown with cross and pendilia, holding in r. a labarum-headed scepter and in l., akakia. To l., similar figure of Constantius, holding gl. cr. in r. and akakia in l.; to r., Andronicus, similar, but akakia in r. and gl. cr. in l. Double border of dots. Rev.: Three figures standing, facing. In center, Christ standing on square footstool, nimbate, wearing tunic and himation, crowning Romanus on l. and Eudocia and r. Romanus wears modified loros and crown with pendilia, holds r. hand on breast and gl. cr. in r. Eudocia wears modified loros with kite-shaped panel and crown with pinnacles and pendilia, holds gl. cr. in r. and l. hand on breast. Double border of dots. reverse die axis 6 o'clock
