"Oeuvre des trois semaines," Vacation Colony: Vacation Colonies: France: Views of the Vacation Colony at Montjavoult, which is one of the three centres for summer outings, maintained by the Oeuvre des Trois Semaines (founded 1881 at Paris). Over 2000 children are given three weeks holiday each summer at a cost of eight dollars per child. The society is partially supported by private subscription.
