Obv.: Justin (l.) and Justinian (r.) seated to front on a double throne of which uprights and crossbar are shown; both figures are nimbate, with trefoil ornament on their heads, their hands clasped on their breasts; each holds a globe in l. hand and the l. knee of each is advanced; cross between heads. Rev.: Angel facing, in tunic and pallium; in r. hand a long cross; in l., a globe-cross; in r. field, a star.
